Peggy Thomas, MSN, RN has been named deputy nursing director at the Community Campus, effective Jan. 6. Thomas brings 26 years of administrative and nursing experience from St. Joseph’s Health, where she held leadership in perioperative and invasive services, medical imaging and cardiology, medical surgical nursing and endoscopy. Thomas will have oversight of Community Campus nursing services, including MedSurg/ICU inpatient services, family birth center, operating room and cross campus procedural services, Transitional Care Unit, and Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation units on 2N and 4E on both campuses.  Thomas holds master of science degree in nursing leadership and management is from Western Governors University, a bachelor of science degree in nursing from Keuka College and an associates degree in nursing from St. Joseph’s.  Thomas serves as a regional board member of the American Heart Association.
