Robert B. Barlow Vision Research Seminar is Dec. 12
Sabine Fuhrmann, PhD, associate professor of ophthalmology and visual sciences at Vanderbilt University, will present Regulation of Patterning and Morphogenesis of the Developing Eye Wednesday, Dec. 12 at 4 p.m. in 4709 Neuroscience Research Building.
Nursing Grand Rounds is Dec. 18
Cathy Narcavage-Bradley, MSN, RN, nurse educator, will present Toolbox for Self-Care: Prevention of Vicarious Trauma, Compassion Fatigue and Burnout Tuesday, Dec. 18 from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. in the Performance Center. The presentation will be streamed live to Classroom A and B at Community Campus, and videotaped for post-presentation online viewing within the NGR blackboard course #3490: Nursing Grand Rounds. Targeted to Upstate nurses and professionals who wish to increase their knowledge regarding vicarious trauma, compassion fatigue and burnout as well as self-care techniques to assist in their prevention.
