Brian Pratt, MS, RN, CNS, ACCNS-AG, CCRN, has been named the advanced practice resource nurse (APRN) for the Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU). Pratt earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Upstate’s College of Nursing. Most recently, Pratt served as the sepsis coordinator. He holds various certifications, including critical care and trauma.

Amy Payne has joined Ambulatory Services as the director for Ambulatory Analytics, responsible for developing the analytics strategy for the division that includes performance management, reporting and quality improvement initiatives. Prior to Upstate, Payne was managing director for analytics for the Marketing and Communications Division at Teach For America and served at the American Cancer Society in a variety of operations, marketing and analytics roles including the manager of Business Intelligence and director of Customer Analytics. She holds a bachelor’s degree in actuarial mathematics from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
