Jennifer Stanger, MD, has joined the Department of Surgery as an assistant professor, specializing in pediatric surgery. Prior to her medical degree, Stanger earned a bachelor’s degree in nutrition in 2001 from the University of Saskatchewan, Saskatoon, where she also completed a dietetic internship. Stanger earned a medical degree in 2005 from the University of Calgary, Alberta, Canada, where she also completed a general surgery residency in 2012.  She also earned her master’s degree in clinical epidemiology in 2009 from the University of Alberta, where she completed her first two years of general surgery residency in 2007. Prior to Upstate, Stanger finished a fellowship in pediatric surgery at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada in 2014. She is certified in general surgery and clinical investigation by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.

Georgia J. Culver, BSN, RN, has been appointed to the position of nursing unit manager for the Vascular Access Team and Procedural Services. Culver brings 25 years of nursing experience to this role with a strong background in nursing leadership. Most recently, she was part of the Procedural float pool for all the Procedural units. Culver received her bachelor’s of science degree in nursing from Roberts Wesleyan College, NY.

Anne Marie Seller, MPA, BSN, RN, has been named the nursing unit director for Radiology Nursing with responsibility for its management, leadership, and oversight. Seller has 33 years of nursing experience in leadership and program development. She received her master’s degree in public administration from Syracuse University and her bachelor’s degree in nursing and a Management Leadership certificate from McMaster University, Ontario, Canada.
