Friend in Deed funding applications due Jan. 11
The Upstate Foundation is accepting applications from Upstate employees for Friend in Deed funding for projects that enhance the patient experience at Upstate University Hospital’s Community and Downtown campuses. Friend in Deed is the annual fund for the hospitals and is largely supported through donations from grateful patients and their families, as well as members of the Upstate family and the community. Guidelines and applications are available at or 315-464-4416. Applications require the approval of a department head. The deadline to submit applications to the Upstate Foundation, 326 Campus Activities Building, is Friday, Jan. 11.

Administrative Professions Forum is Jan. 16
An Administrative Professions Forum will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 16 from 10 to 11 a.m. in the Medical Alumni Auditorium of Weiskotten Hall. Nancy Daoust will present the keynote address—What to Know About the Community Campus. The forum is designed as a resource for administrative assistants who support hospital and campus staff, such as clinical chairs, deans and administrators. It will offer information, tips, helpful resources, professional development and training, and opportunities to promote good health.
