Sara Victory, MBA, has been named director of OR materials, effective Jan. 18. In this position, Victory will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the O.R. Materials Department at the Downtown and Community campuses and at all offsite locations. Victory comes to Upstate from the University of Vermont Health Network Porter Medical Center, Middlebury Vt., where she was the director of Materials Management and Purchasing. Victory earned a bachelor’s degree from East Coast Polytechnic Institute and a MBA from Western Governors University.
Rev. Rayne L. Dabney, Upstate associate chaplain, has been recognized as a Woman of Excellence by Strathmore’s Who’s Who Worldwide for her outstanding contributions and achievements for 25 years in the field of health care. As associate chaplain, Dabney provides pastoral care to patients who have suffered strokes and other life-changing circumstances and are undergoing physical and occupational therapy.
