New name for Office of Capital Programs
The Office of Capital Programs has been renamed Design and Construction.  The office phone number, 315-464-4630, and its location at the Sarah Loguen Center remain the same.

Student information sessions on health careers are July 26

5th Annual Transplant Golf Tournament is Friday, Aug. 2
The 5th Annual Transplant Golf Tournament will be held Friday, Aug. 2 at Lake Shore Yacht & Country Club in Cicero. Proceeds benefit the Upstate University Hospital Transplant Patient Assistance Fund, held at the Upstate Foundation, that assists post-transplant patients with out-of-pocket expenses to ensure that their health care needs are met to maintain the life and longevity of their transplanted organ. A scholarship will also be awarded to a pediatric transplant recipient. Spiritual Care Journal Club is Aug. 7
The Spiritual Care Journal Club will be held Wednesday, Aug. 7 from 12:45 to 1:30 p.m. in 1317 at Downtown Campus. Participants will discuss The Chaplain Family Project: Development, Feasibility, and Acceptability of an Intervention to Improve Spiritual Care of Family Surrogates, published in the Journal of Health Care Chaplaincy. Second annual Bottoms Up One Club Golf Tournament is Sept. 7
The second annual Bottoms Up One Club Golf Tournament will be held Sept. 7 at Burnet Park Golf Course. Registration is $75 and proceeds support the Upstate Colon Cancer Fund. Participants are allowed to bring one club to play nine holes in a captain and mate tournament, with breweries at each hole for craft beer sampling. Registration includes lunch, give-a-ways, tastings, and greens fees. An after party and 10th Hole Putting Contest will be held at Now and Later Pub.
