18th annual Biomedical Sciences Retreat is Sept. 11
The College of Graduate Studies will host the 18th annual Biomedical Sciences Retreat Tuesday, Sept. 11 from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. at The Lodge at Welch Allyn Conference Center in Skaneateles. The day-long event features faculty, alumni and guest speakers, the formal introduction of the incoming class of graduate students, and a poster session. Guest speakers include: Cole Haynes, Ph.D., associate professor of molecular, cell and cancer biology at University of Massachusetts Medical School and Martin Gleave, C.M., professor and chairman of urological sciences at the University of British Columbia and director of the Vancouver Prostate Centre. The retreat is free to attend, but registration is required by Aug. 27 at noon. Registrants are eligible to submit an abstract and present a poster at the retreat. Submit poster abstracts as a Word document on the retreat website. Guidelines for submitting an abstract are available on our website. Abstract submissions are due Monday, Aug. 20 at noon.
