In support of the Upstate Foundation’s Friends of the Upstate Cancer Center annual fund, Alisa Houston, left, and Jo-Anne Grigg, representatives from the Syracuse AXA Hearts in Action committee, present a check for $735 to Matthew Capogreco of the Upstate Cancer Center. The funds were raised through AXA employee support of the sale of daffodil bouquets and potted mini daffodils at the company’s Daffodil Days event. Employees also donated daffodils to be planted in the Upstate Cancer Center healing garden where these sunny blossoms will be a welcome sign of spring for many years to come.
