Upstate People

Sadia Ashraf, MBBS, has joined Upstate’s Department of Medicine as assistant professor, specializing in endocrinology. Her practice is located at the Upstate Joslin Diabetes Center. Ashraf received a MBBS (bachelor of medicine, bachelor of surgery) degree from Fatima Jinnah Medical College in Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan in 2000. Her post-graduate training includes:  Research Fellowship at the University of Toronto, St. Michael’s Hospital (2003-2004); medical residency at SUNY at Buffalo, Catholic Health System, Sisters of Charity Hospital (2004 to 2007); and an Endocrinology Fellowship at Upstate Medical University (2015-2017). Prior to her fellowship at Upstate, Ashraf served as a hospitalist at Catholic Medical Center, Manchester, NH. Ashraf is currently accepting new patients.
