Students and faculty of the College of Health Professions Physical Therapy Program collaborated with members of Upstate’s Tobacco Free Task Force to recognize Global PT Day of Service, Oct. 17, by clearing cigarette litter and distributing smoke cessation coupons on campus. Claudia D’Eredita of Upstate’s IMT Department puts brush to canvas at Paint Nite, an Oct. 22 fundraiser benefiting the Upstate Cancer Center. The event attracted 30 participants and raised $507. Paint Nite, held at the cancer center, was co-hosted by The Bacon Brigade, an Upstate employee fundraising group, and the Upstate Cancer Center.
