The Upstate Foundation hosted its annual luncheon for members of the Upstate Legacy Society Oct. 24 at the Century Club in Syracuse. The Foundation established the Upstate Legacy Society in 2010 as a tribute to donors who include Upstate in their estate plans. New members this year are John and Mell Gleason, Dr. Fritz and Ginny Parker, and Eileen and John Pezzi. Six members of Upstate have joined the United Way of Central New York’s Young Leaders United (YLU). YLU is comprised of Central New York young professionals who are committed to supporting United Way by providing time and financial resources where they are needed most in the community. The group holds various network, volunteer and training events throughout the year for members to connect, serve and learn.
