Online-only bachelor of science program in nursing to launch Spring 2019

Moving the program entirely online offers students enhanced flexibility with the potential of engaging more students to earn a degree from Upstate.


College of Medicine to host 143rd Medical Alumni Reunion Sept. 21 and 22

Reunion will recognize three alumni: Beverly Khnie Philip, founding director of the Day Surgery Unit at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston; David Ansell, senior vice president for Community Health Equity at Rush University Medical Center; Patrick Basile, assistant chief of plastic surgery and the director of microsurgery at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center.


Countdown to 2018 Community Giving Campaign underway

Campaign co-chairs Mark Schmitt, PhD, and Gennady Bratslavsky, MD, draped in capes, highlight the “Be a Superhero” theme for the Community Giving Campaign, which will also feature a campuswide competition.

More than 100 members of the Upstate community fanned out across the county to provide assistance with projects at eight human service agencies addressing issues such as homelessness, food insecurity, refugee and youth empowerment.
